In the very near time to the end of school and tuition activity, without knowing what kind of viruses which had assaulted our teacher's conscious mind, we were given the assignment to create movies..
It was approximately a month before national examination, and a couple weeks before final school examination, our English teacher Mam Zulfa bestowed this hulky-bulky task. A week after that, our Indonesian lesson teacher Mrs. Rosaidah -I said, suddenly- changed the plan for the practice task. It was supposed to be speech/oration as the task, but at last we were given two options: declaiming drama or making a movie.
I, personally chose drama (because the sickened feeling of undergoing the movie task), but my group-mates chose creating the movie instead. What can I do? *sigh

This became interesting. Two movies as the final practice tasks were not small pieces of cake.
As we had to segregate our concern, because going along with doing this shooting-action stuffs, we needed to as well concentrate to approaching final school and national exam.

In the end, the results were terrifying, whether it was English or Indonesian task..
It's hard to imagine how to see our own selves inside the screen, laugh over them, and indeed laugh over other friends; that some of them, have 180 degrees different characteristics in the real life.
It was fairly quality time, to spend with the classmates, taking pictures and scenes until night. Aside with subliminal feeling that our togetherness would almost be over.
It was delighting, to compile all scenes, digitally make them up. Yess, editing movies ended up becoming so addictive..
Finally, I can't thank much to the teachers who gave this assignment, so that we could share our creativity, innovation , and insanity..

Below, I pick three pieces, that become my most favorite ones.. Two of them are from my own groups, the other one is from another group..

1) A Sweet Day

This film is made by Anis Anindya, Ayu Syabana, Fatimah Hafni (three of them are in the same group with me in English-movie task), Dian Sally, Hashifah Anisah, Hamimi Mastura, Muhammad Gunawan, Menalisa, Muqri Dalimunthe, and Solichin Nusa..
When this film was played back in the class, the whole class was full with noise sounds of enthusiasm, knowing that the film would be interesting..
and it truly was..
I say, the players of the movie themselves are already hilarious in the real story..
haha..

However, I can't help being fond of this movie. The story is simply simple.
But the peak of the conflict hits the core..
My favorite part?? the ending one..
I'm utterly touched, and indeed affected.. =')





2) When Destiny Twists

Comes to my own group, I won't say I either like or put the film here because it's mine.. But I juz like the outcome my group managed to make..
Several days after English-movie task was conferred, we began to set up the story..
I said to my group, to make a remarkable movie, there should be somethings special inside.. I wanted to insert the murder, questionable ending, and unorthodox storyline..
In addition, I also wanted to put XXX and rape scenes, but none of the group members agreed..
haha..
One of my group-mate came with the idea of in-vitro-fertilization-born main character (in Indonesian: bayi tabung), but the others dissented because of the complicated depiction of the story..
We eventually inserted the leukemia as one element of the story, although in the scenes it is not really pertinent..

We took the shots of pictures for three days, one night (without sleep) to edit the whole film, and another noon to make the subtitle..
The result?? I personally am gratified..
And I self-proclaim set up the genre of the movie: it's a sarcastic romance..

3) Anak Kos Punya Cerita

Well, from the title, it must already be known that this is an Indonesian-language movie..
Long story short, I may say, that this film was made simply to fulfill the obligation to create the movie task..
the storyline was made by half of group members (predominantly the girls) a week before final school exam. And we shot the scenes in the last two days of final school exam..
The interesting thing is: the other half of group members (predominantly the boys) didn't know about the whole storyline when it came to the taking shots of the scenes..
Hence during shooting, we didn't know the story, the roles of the character, even the dialogues..
We might say, this movie is a total improvisation..

However, the result said the contrary..
I can guarantee that this film is quite fascinating..
The scenes will shock the audiences' stomach, because the players are inherently funny..
(even we had to restrain our own laughs during the shooting of pictures)
Even the story remains unclear, I say you won't regret watching this..
